What this service is

Dayton Siding Repair is a free referral and matching service. We connect homeowners in the Dayton, Ohio area with independent, insured local siding contractors. We are not a contractor, we do not perform siding or construction work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter with a contractor. Any estimate, contract, warranty, workmanship, scheduling, and pricing are solely between you and the contractor.

Independent contractors

Contractors in our network are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, or partners, and we do not supervise, direct, or control their work. We make reasonable efforts to work with insured professionals, but you are responsible for your own due diligence before hiring anyone.

Licensing disclosure — Ohio

The State of Ohio does not issue a state license specific to siding work or general residential contracting. Ohio's state-level contractor licenses (issued through the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board) cover only electrical, HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, and refrigeration trades. For that reason, this site makes no "licensed contractor" claim, and you should treat any siding company's blanket "state licensed" claim with scrutiny.

What does exist, and what you can verify:

• Insurance. Ask any contractor for a current certificate of insurance issued directly from their insurer, and confirm general liability coverage before work begins. This is the single most important verification step.
• Ohio Home Construction Service Suppliers registration (ORC Chapter 4722). Contractors performing residential construction, remodeling, or repair work on contracts of $25,000 or more must be registered with the Ohio Attorney General's office and carry at least $250,000 in liability insurance. For large projects, you may ask for evidence of this registration.
• Municipal registration. The City of Dayton and several surrounding municipalities require contractors to register locally before performing work or pulling permits. Your city's building department can confirm a contractor's registration status.
• Workers' compensation. Ohio employers must carry workers' compensation coverage through the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation for their employees.

Cost figures on this site are good-faith market ranges for the Dayton area, provided for orientation only. They are not quotes, and actual pricing is determined solely by the contractor after inspecting your property. We make no guarantee that any project will fall within a published range.

Consent to contact

By submitting a form or calling, you consent to being contacted by us and by the matched contractor at the phone number and email you provide, including by call, text, or email, regarding your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to texts, or tell us by phone, to withdraw consent. Calls to our number may be recorded.

No warranty

The site and the matching service are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant contractor performance, project outcomes, timelines, or pricing, and we disclaim all liability arising from agreements between you and any contractor.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of this site or the matching service shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to submit false requests, harvest information, interfere with the site's operation, or violate any law. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the current version.
